Hymn 473 - Great is Thy Faithfulness

Main message: Great is God's faithfulness.

Interpretation notes:

  • Steady quarter notes are the main rhythm, with dotted rhythmic figures used mostly on ‘faithfulness.’ 

  • The phrase ‘great is thy faithfulness’ is proclaimed three times in the refrain. 

  • A dotted eighth note followed by a sixteenth note appears two times in a row. 

  • In the last proclamation, there are accents on each word and a fermata on the last syllable.
