Hymn 408 - What if it Were Today?

Main message: It will be a glorious day when Jesus comes again.

Interpretation notes:

  • The first half of the hymn is in 6/4 meter. 

  • ‘Glory, glory’ is repeated four times in the refrain. 

  • The final repetition reaches the highest note, G-flat, and the hymn ends with a fermata on the word ‘come’.
