Hymn 370 - If God Be for Us

Main message: Confident in God's promise of protection.

Interpretation notes:

  • The opening includes a leap of a 6th. 

  • The end of both the first and second systems uses a crescendo. 

  • The phrase 'If God is for us' is repeated three times, and the word 'who' is also repeated three times. 

  • The phrase ends with a V-I authentic cadence.
