Hymn 363 - Standing on the Promises

Interpretation notes:

  • The melody begins in a lower register with a consistent dotted eighth and sixteenth-note rhythm. 

  • By the end of the verses and into the refrain, the melody stays in the higher register until the end of the refrain. 

  • Half notes are used four times on the lyric 'Stand-ing.'
