Hymn 220 - O Come, All Ye Faithful

Interpretation notes:

  • This hymn describes how the angel announces the birth of Lord Jesus, and invites all to adore Him. 

  • The final two lines of the melody progress gradually from low to high, and proclaim Christ the Lord at the end of the song. 

  • "Christ" is emphasized by two notes, with a duration of three quarters and an eighth beats.

  • One can sing with invitation and adoration
